Delightful piece of local history filled with beautifully restored wooden boats and friendly people, many of whom swim in the bay in every season! Brrrrr!
Great club if you want to swim w/o snootyness. Awesome sauna! Best rowing club for solo rowers. Overall friendly and they have a great workshop to help and learn about boat mantenance and repair.
Dolphin place is astonishing. Especially MARK, he curved my nerves and swam half a mile with me and watched out for me as I head out again. Thank you MARK for your hospitality. GOD bless you.
Great swimming club for those brave enough to swim in the cold waters in winter. They've got great facilities including a sauna and are super welcoming to visitors.
Everyone was nice. Newbies welcomed.Historical photos and trophy case, Captain's chairs with bay view.
A really cool thing to do as a tourist is to pay ten bucks here and go for a swim in the bay followed by a sauna in their 100+ year old clubhouse.
You’ll need the exact change in cash.
Clean and beautiful. Check the website for days it's open to the public. 10$ gives you access to the club for the day to try a swim, with lockers set aside for the public (bring a lock), hot showers and a sauna! The Rowing Club next door doesn't have public lockers and is less well kept.
